ABOUT
HI! My name is Meghan, and I'm a 23-year-old who lives and works in the southern Mississippi area. I've been drawing since before my memory starts ... so, safe to say, all my life. I started drawing fan art as young as five years old and it's still a big part of my life. Comics have also been a big part of my life -- I created my first comic characters at age seven!
I didn't start seriously drawing (besides doodles when I was supposed to be paying attention in school) until I was a teen. Sometime around 16 or 17 I decided I wanted art to be a big part of my life again.
I'm an art major at a college in my town. After a break semester due to health reasons, I took this time to work on commissions and launch my first serious webcomic, with my fraternal twin sister. I also got back in photography, which I've been doing since my first camera purchase in 2006. I returned to college in 2011 with plans to graduate in 2012. I'm also planning to transfer to the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I've been accepted as an animation major for spring 2013.
I enjoy sushi, cupcakes, the color pink, second-hand clothes, collecting rubber ducks, classic rock, charm jewelry, Diet Coke and exotic meat. I do not enjoy tomatoes, country music or cellphones.
I was a puppeteer at one point in my life and have lived in a haunted house. That's about it for fun facts.
